Movement resubmission
In this project we had to clearly portray time in the form of some kind of image, video, or a GIF. I Chose to display my captured time in the form of a static image, this is because movement adds a new element iff you show it as a picture, the added element movement creates can be seen as distortion in a composition.
My composition involved capturing the movement of multiple vehicles in a dark environment (around 8pm in Trafalgar Square, London) using a long exposure, in some of these images I used a flash to freeze the subject but at the same time blur the background to create distortion, I did this by following the vehicle in its tracks with the camera while it was exposing.
To take these photos I used my Canon 550D DSLR crop sensor camera, I edited these images in Photoshop cc and I shot the images in RAW so that they could be more precisely edited in photoshop, I then converted them to JPEG files to take up less space having been edited.
My images clearly display time due to the light trails captured by the long exposures I used when taking these pictures
In this image I used a 1/4 second exposure to capture the time and a 5.6 F-stop, this larger aperture allows for a greater depth of field.
For the image of the bus I used a 1 second exposure and an F-stop of 5 once again giving a greater depth of field.
For the final image at the bottom I used the same settings of 1 second exposure and an F.5 aperture.

these images went well because they are easily identifiable as the objects they are and still clearly show time, these images however still could have gone better because they could have been framed slightly better and i could have spent more time framing them.
These images also could have gone better because I could have spent more time framing the images, I also could have put all my images into the contact sheet however I deleted them.
These images also could have also gone better iff I had spent more time trying to focus on the backgrounds of the shots rather than the less exiting background I have in the images.
