Justin Quinnell

Justin Quinnell is a photographer who's style is very original and consists mostly of the pinhole technique which he has mastered, Quinnell's style is very unique and strange some of his images showing the view from inside a mouth. Quinnell first got into pinhole photography because he was the head of photography at "A not to influential area of bristol", none of his students could afford the high prices of modern cameras however they could afford multiple cans of coke through out the day, so to get around the issue he decided to get his students to make cameras out of the coke cans in the form of pinhole cameras which helped Quinnell begin to use the photography method more and this was all before the existence of internet meaning that Quinnell was unaware of anyone else using the process. Sequences of Decay A timelapse is a sequence of photos which have been taken over a space of time with equal intervals between each shot, it is important that the image remains perfectly framed din the same place for each photo to sow no camera shake in the final out come it is also important that the settings and focus remain the same throughout the whole period, to achieve this it is suggested the camera is set up in fully manual meaning u adjust your aperture shutter speed and focus by yourself sometimes even ISO There is a popular photographer called Sam Taylor Johnson, she is well known for her "Still life" piece which involves time lapsing the decay of fruit in a bowl over a long period of time. EADWEARD MUYBRIDGE  Eadward Muybridge: Eadward was known for his huge steps in photography, he proved the fact that horses feet do infact leave the ground when galloping in 1878 in a competition, this won him $10000, this proved the horse "can fly", he did this by taking multiple photos go horses running. He was also one of the very first photographers to succesfully create panoramas, he was known for his american landscape panoramas. Eadward also created the zoopraxiscope this is a way of projecting his photography in sequence which creates the cinema in its early stages. The very short period of time in which the horse appears to be flying can be seen in images 2 and 3 on the picture above.
